Rüstem Paşa Social Complex (Islamic Ottoman social complex) was constructed by Architect Sinan in Cağaloğlu. When it was converted into a dormitory during restoration, its furniture was designed in the modular system by Prof. Önder Küçükerman. The materials that would remind Anatolia were selected in order to “preserve the Anatolia atmosphere for the children coming from Anatolia“ in the words of Mr. Küçükerman. The chair has an iron structure. The seating and the back parts are made of matting.
