ERSA stepped into the sector in 1958. ERSA, in which the third generation members of the family participate in the management, produces seating units like armchairs and sofas besides office furniture. As well as desks, workstations, chests, cabinets, and coffee tables, there are partition panels, paper and archive cabinets, and lockers among ERSA products. Metin Atabey Ata, the founder of the firm, produced iconic furniture compatible with the modern character of the period with water pipes and simple materials in the absence of material in the 1950s. As a result of the agreement with State Supply Office (DMO), ERSA furniture was distributed everywhere in Turkey.
