The firm, founded by Azmi Koz and Bediz Koz in Ankara in 1959, continued as Butik A in the late 1960s and later as MPD (standing for Furniture, Planning, and Decoration in Turkish). As Butik A, the firm gave service to the artists and elites of the period like Ulvi Cemal Erkin and Ferhunde Erkin. Like the Interno firm, MPD is one of the first stores that had a showroom. The firm is still being run by Bediz Koz after Azmi Koz passed away in 2003, and produces modern and contemporary furniture.
