This armchair without armrests was designed for the relaxing areas of the Block A by Interior Architecture Prof. Sadun Ersin, one of the winners of the Interior Design Contest launched for Grand National Assembly of Turkey in 1956. The armchair, whose application drawings were dated to December 1959 was produced numereously between 1960 and 1961; however, few of them have reached today. It is still used in various units of National Assembly.
