This sofa was designed for the relaxing areas of the Block A by Interior Architect Prof. Sadun Ersin, one of the winners of the Interior Design Contest launched for The Grand National Assembly of Turkey in 1959. The application drawings were dated to December 1956 and the sofa was produced between 1960 and 1961. Today, it is still being used in the relaxing area nearby the party group rooms. Wooden coffee table is a part of the design and the structure of the bench.
