This sofa was designed for the relaxing areas of the Block A by Interior Architect Prof. Sadun Ersin, one of the winners of the Interior Design Contest launched for The Grand National Assembly of Turkey in 1959. The application drawings were dated to December 1956 and the sofa was produced numerously between 1960 and 1961; however, few of them have reached today. It is still used in various units of The Grand National Assembly.
