This chair was designed by Sadun Ersin in the 1970s and around 400 or 500 chairs were produced for the World Red Cross Congress to the Atatürk Cultural Center by Masis, one of the leading furniture firms of the period. Its back and seating area, placed on a steel tube structure, is comprised of fabric cover on a wooden surface.
