This armchair with armrests was designed for the relaxing area areas of the Block A by Interior Architect Prof. Sadun Ersin, one of the winners of the Interior Design Contest launched for The Grand National Assembly of Turkey in 1956. The armchair, whose application drawings were dated to December 1959 was produced numerously between 1960 and 1961; however, few of them have reached today. It is still used in various units of The Grand National Assembly.
